Sensory Stimulation
Sensory awareness is the practice of focusing on a specific sensory aspect of the body or environment. This form of mindfulness can help to relax, reduce stress, and improve mood and creativity. Sensory awareness goes beyond simply responding to stimuli and instead involves paying attention to them in a way that is not commonly practised in Western cultures, which tend to prioritise experiences from the neck up.
