The Social Care Sector Hub
Trauma-Informed Training for Social Care Professionals

About the Training
The webinars focus on practical, trauma-informed approaches that can be applied directly within social care practice. They are designed to support reflective practice, consistency in approach, and improved partnership working across services.
Training is delivered mainly by our keynote speakers, Sarah Naish and Sarah Dillon, both best-selling authors with extensive professional expertise and lived experience in the field of trauma and attachment.

Expert Trauma-Informed Keynote Talks for Universities (Paid)
Our keynote speakers, Sarah Naish and Sarah Dillon, also deliver specialist keynote talks and training for universities, fostering and adoption teams, and Local Authorities across the UK. These sessions are available as a paid service for organisations and university teams.
Their work combines professional expertise with lived experience, offering powerful insight into childhood trauma, therapeutic approaches, and best practice in social work. Sarah Naish is an adopter of five siblings and a former social worker. Sarah Dillon speaks from her lived experience as a former child in care and is now a highly respected Attachment Therapist.
Both are actively involved in practice development through True Fostering EOT (Ofsted Outstanding) and Safer Fostering CIC (Wales, not-for-profit), and have worked with The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma to develop accredited trauma-informed qualifications and practical tools to support improved practice.
