In this course we will explore why children might be violent, thereby developing a greater understanding of extreme behaviours. We will introduce early interventions and de-escalation strategies. We will introduce practical strategies to keep the child safe and to avoid conflict. Finally, we will investigate the impact of violent behaviour from the child on the parents, exploring the importance of self-care.
